Dunlap Gun Buyers continues to be a solid, trustworthy business to deal with if you want to sell you firearms. I have sold several firearms to them. The process is straightforward: submit a quote request, receive an offer, accept the offer, ship with the provided and insured shipping label (you must provide the box), and receive payment. The flow of the process is manual versus other companies that provide the same service; email receipt and response vs. all online. However, the results are the same and receiving the payment takes approximately the same time, if not a day or two faster in some cases. Use the direct deposit option to receive your payment in under 3 business days (my experience). Also, they are willing to negotiate the offer amount depending on the firearm or offer an alternative consigment option.

Very Professional and Easy Process. I submitted a list of what i wanted to sell along with photos. They came back quickly with a quote of what they would pay. I agreed and that same day had documents to include with what i was sending as well as shipping labels for every box being sent. I just had to box it up-hardest part of whole process was trying not to go over 35 pounds her box. It was sent and within a day or two of receiving the items they confirmed payment was being sent to my account. I received payment the following day. One suggestion to anyone sending a long arm, from Fed Ex you can buy a $7 triangular "golf club" box that will easily handle most long arms and is accepted by UPS, the carrier that CMG use.

Cash My Guns is a great place to sell your firearm. I almost never write reviews, but this place is definitely worth considering. I checked with several other online businesses to sell an inherited firearm, and Cash My Guns made the best, and fair offer for what I was selling. They laid out the very simple process for shipping, and the bill of sale and funding was very fast. I highly recommend them, and will likely use them again in the future.I checked around on some forums and such and people were skeptical of Cash My Guns because they are online (I guess), but it's a legitimate FFL. Beware! I sent closeup photos and a video showing markings and identifying numbers of inherited firearms that I wanted to sell and received an offer lower than what I received from another company. I took Dunlap’s (aka Cash My Guns) offer due to convenience and a promised quick turn around on payment. Upon receiving my items however, although Dunlap’s reported that I packed the guns well and all were in overall good condition, the “experts” advised they made a mistake identifying one of the guns and lowered my already low offer an additional $120. Dunlap’s then reminded me that I would have to pay for shipping the guns to a nearby licensed firearm dealer and pay transfer fee if I decided NOT to accept the new lower offer. I’m not impressed with this tactic and wonder how often they do this to others. On their website they claim 1% of the time, very rarely, a new evaluation may happen upon receipt of the items. Reputable companies would not penalize the customer for their mistake, this feels like a bully tactic.
