I was moving out of the country and had to dispose of my guns. Cash My Guns offered me a great price for my WW II rifle and my shotgun and honored it when they received it then paid me immediately. One suggestion to anyone sending a long arm, from Fed Ex you can buy a $7 triangular "golf club" box that will easily handle most long arms and is accepted by UPS, the carrier that CMG use.

I checked with several other online businesses to sell an inherited firearm, and Cash My Guns made the best, and fair offer for what I was selling. They laid out the very simple process for shipping, and the bill of sale and funding was very fast. I highly recommend them, and will likely use them again in the future.I checked around on some forums and such and people were skeptical of Cash My Guns because they are online (I guess), but it's a legitimate FFL. Again, the process was very easy and very fast.

Beware! I sent closeup photos and a video showing markings and identifying numbers of inherited firearms that I wanted to sell and received an offer lower than what I received from another company. I took Dunlap’s (aka Cash My Guns) offer due to convenience and a promised quick turn around on payment. Upon receiving my items however, although Dunlap’s reported that I packed the guns well and all were in overall good condition, the “experts” advised they made a mistake identifying one of the guns and lowered my already low offer an additional $120. Dunlap’s then reminded me that I would have to pay for shipping the guns to a nearby licensed firearm dealer and pay transfer fee if I decided NOT to accept the new lower offer. I’m not impressed with this tactic and wonder how often they do this to others. On their website they claim 1% of the time, very rarely, a new evaluation may happen upon receipt of the items. Reputable companies would not penalize the customer for their mistake, this feels like a bully tactic.
