Cash My Guns buys a wide array of firearms including handguns, rifles, and shotguns. A distinct feature you’ll notice on some semi-automatic models is a curved ammunition magazine.

So why are gun magazines curved? It has to do with the way bullets and their cartridges naturally nest within the magazine. Cartridges that are even slightly conical in shape are not able to sit perfectly straight, as depicted in the diagram we mocked up below. In addition, tapered bullets play a role in the configuration.

All of this adds up to a reliable feeding source for ammunition! Now you know. This YouTube video also explains this phenomenon well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuch_mRifto

Do you have a firearm with detachable magazines? We would love to take it off your hands if you are no longer using it. In some cases, we will offer a higher dollar amount if you have high-quality magazines compatible with your model gun. If anything, shoot us an email at [email protected] or give us a ring at (775) 432-6006 to chat with us about selling your firearm.

In general it was easy and straightforward. A little surprise after the packages had been received and acknowledgement that they were as described, but then told they were being inspected. All turned out fine, but the last little step could’ve been handled a little better.

First-time customer. My interactions with Cash My Guns were very positive. CMG kept me informed throughout the process. I received significantly more for my firearm than I anticipated and did not have to concern myself with the transactions that followed the bidding closure.

This company is just a pawn shop. They offered $176 for a brand new hellcat pro. The gun was NEVER shot before. Total ripoff. If I took that offer I guarantee you guys would sell it for retail price.

I contacted CFG and sent the pictures. Instantly received a reply, which was courteous and detailed. Then contacted a competitor and received information but not as courteous. Also quite a price with CFG’s to the good. Have a great week. One of the guns was lost by the carrier. CFG rectified the lost fire arm issue. Great service!

I've sold or consigned more than 10 guns through Cash My Guns and I'm more than impressed with their service. Now that I've experienced how quickly they work I would probably use the consignment side more often... I think the longest any consignment sale took was about 2 weeks. They are quick to pay, fair, and truly a stand up group of men and women. It's been completely hassle free.
